Business Development Manager (Schools)
Red Earth designs cultural immersion programs with Traditional Owners and their families, who host school groups on their homelands. Students spend days on Country, learning directly from First Nations people, in places most Australians will never see.
Teachers routinely tell us it is the most significant thing their students do at school. Students come back changed: more grounded, more aware of this country, more capable of seeing beyond their own world.
We want more schools to have access to that, and more First Nations families to have the opportunity to host. That is what this role is for.
You will own the school sales cycle end to end: finding new schools, building the relationship, running the meetings, writing the proposal, presenting to students and parents, getting a group together and then handing the client over to a Relationship Manager.
This is a long-cycle, consultative sale. Schools plan 12 to 24 months ahead, and a decision typically involves service learning coordinators, heads of year, deputy principals and finance. You need the patience and discipline for that, and the warmth to hold a relationship together across it.
There is a well-established product, a strong reputation with independent and Catholic schools around the country, and a delivery team that is very good at what it does. What we need is someone to open more doors.

Regional Operations Coordinator – Northern Territory
We are looking for an experienced operations leader to coordinate people, logistics, safety, assets and partner relationships across programs in the Northern Territory. This is a hands-on regional role for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, can keep multiple moving parts on track, and is motivated by meaningful work with strong community relationships.
Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee regional operations in both Central Australia and the Top End and help ensure programs are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with Red Earth’s values.
This role combines tourism and outdoor program design, operations leadership, logistics coordination, field support, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement. It suits someone who enjoys both planning and hands-on problem-solving, and who can lead with professionalism, care and accountability.
The role allows for remote work, with a relocation package provided to set up in Alice Springs for our busy season. There would be approximately 60 nights of field travel to foster close working relationships with our community partners and deliver exceptional immersions, spending time in both Central Australia and the Top End, including Arnhem Land.

- Hold at least a Certificate IV in Outdoor Leadership/Recreation (or have equivalent experience)

Regional Assistants/Bus Drivers
We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic and reliable Regional Assistants (Bus Drivers) to join our team as we continue to grow within our regions of operation – Cape York, Central Australia, the Top End and Hawkesbury.
The ideal candidate has experience working with school groups, and is passionate about providing a positive and safe experience for their clients. They will also be based in, or willing to relocate to Alice Springs, Cairns or Darwin, and have worked in education, tourism or First Nations engagement.
This role would be suited to an individual seeking casual or short-term contract work (up to 6 months). Our busiest periods of operation are throughout the June-July and September-October school holidays.

- Hold a full manual driver’s license (Medium Rigid or higher) and driver authority
- Hold or be eligible for a Working With Children Check
- Hold or be willing to complete a basic first aid and CPR course
- Have 2+ years experience driving in similar environments or for similar charters (regional/remote locations, overnight, basic accommodation, camping with group)
- Want to learn more about First Nations culture
