Business Development (Schools)

Red Earth designs powerful cultural immersion programs with Traditional Owners and their extended family clan who host school groups on their land. These are life-changing experiences for Traditional Owners and students alike, and we want more schools and First Nations homelands to access them.

Your job will be to open new school partnerships, continue our relationships with existing schools, own the sales cycle, and bring in programs so our delivery teams can do their best work and deliver life-changing programs for students and our First Nations partners.

This is a golden opportunity for someone with business development experience to join a team supporting First Nations families to connect with young people across the country.

Fixed Term Contract

Field Operations Manager (Assets and Equipment) - Central Australia

      Are you an experienced operations and resource manager in the outdoor education, tourism or events space? Do you have a history of delivering programs to a very high standard? Do you enjoy managing assets, designing effective systems, and getting out in the field to help facilitate successful programs?

      Red Earth is looking for a driven Field Operations Manager to oversee all asset, equipment and base operations out of Alice Springs, in our Central Australia region.

      This role will be based out of our Alice Springs Hub (ASH) with an estimated 35 nights in the field, either bus driving, providing logistical support, or assisting on immersions. The ideal candidate will have great interpersonal skills and is comfortable working in both an office and field environment, with a variety of stakeholders.

        Regional Assistants/Bus Drivers

        We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic and reliable Regional Assistants (Bus Drivers) to join our team as we continue to grow within our regions of operation – Cape York, Central Australia, the Top End and Hawkesbury.

        The ideal candidate has experience working with school groups, and is passionate about providing a positive and safe experience for their clients. They will also be based in, or willing to relocate to, Alice Springs, Cairns or Darwin, and have worked in education, tourism or First Nations engagement.

        This role would be suited to an individual seeking casual or short-term contract work (up to 6 months). Our busiest periods of operation are throughout the June-July and September-October school holidays.

        If the above description and following criteria sounds like you, please consider applying to become a part of our team:

        • You are over 21, or will be over 21 on April 1, 2026
        • Hold a full manual driver’s license (Medium Rigid or higher) and driver authority
        • Hold or be eligible for a Working With Children Check
        • Hold or be willing to complete a basic first aid and CPR course
        • Have 2+ years experience driving in similar environments or for similar charters (regional/remote locations, overnight, basic accommodation, camping with group)
        • Want to learn more about First Nations culture
