Introduction

Are you an experienced marketing professional with a passion for social change?

Do you have a history of leading a company’s marketing efforts to improve its brand presence and deliverinbound leads?

Do you have experience managing visual assets and processes to ensure a uniform and high-quality customerjourney from start to finish?

Red Earth is growing, and we are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing and Presentation Manager to lead our marketing initiatives, customer presentations and strengthen our brand’s presence, bringing in new business. The ideal candidate will be adept in digital marketing strategies, including direct response advertising and SEO, and responsible for developing innovative strategies to maximise inbound leads, maintaining and enhancing our brand identity, and managing all aspects of our presentation and external communications efforts.

This role is designed to work at the front and heart of our organisation, liaising with every department. Our head office is in Darlinghurst in Sydney but we are open to candidates living across major cities, near our clients.

Introduction
Are you an experienced operations manager in the travel, outdoor education, tourism or events space? Do you have a history of leading a team to deliver dozens of programs to a very high standard? Do you enjoy managing staff and processes to ensure successful delivery of and improvements to programs?

Red Earth is looking for a driven, passionate individual, readily able lead a small team responsible for connecting young people to the First Nations homelands across the Northern Territory and New South Wales. This is an amazing chance to work at the heart of our organisation, at the cross-roads of tourism and the Indigenous space. This role is primarily office-based but with opportunity to travel to the operating regions in the Northern Territory and New South Wales.

Organisation Outline
We are a small social enterprise with 22 employees passionate about connecting groups people (predominately high school students) to remote First Nations Australia. We do this by create powerful immersion programs, between four to nine-day trips into remote First Australia communities and homelands where small groups learn from Elders and cultural educators, visit cultural sites, and volunteer on a service project in the community.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Required: 3+ years management experience (teams of 6 or more people)
  • Required: 5+ years field operations and project management experience
  • Required: 5+ years’ experience in a similar industry (tourism, outdoor education, events, travel)
  • Required: financial literacy and experiencing in maintaining budgets
  • Desired: experience in start-up, high growth business-environments

Regional Assistants/Bus Drivers - Cape York, Central Australia, Top End and Hawkesbury

We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic and reliable Regional Assistants (Bus Drivers) to join our team as we continue to grow within our regions of operation – Cape York, Central Australia, the Top End and Hawkesbury.

The ideal candidate has experience working with school groups, and is passionate about providing a positive and safe experience for their clients. They will also be based in, or willing to relocate to, Alice Springs, Cairns or Darwin, and have worked in education, tourism or First Nations engagement.

This role would be suited to an individual seeking casual or short-term contract work (up to 6 months). Our busiest periods of operation are throughout the June-July and September-October school holidays.

  • Hold a full manual driver’s license (Medium Rigid or higher) and driver authority
  • Hold or be eligible for a Working With Children Check
